Tonight! Dave Sag’s Blues Party @ The Rhumb Line ~ Special Guests: Orville Giddings, Mark Earley and Steve Chaggaris. New hours are 8:30-11:30
Let’s welcome back the Ipswich Twins! That’s Mr. Orville Giddings and his neighbor and lawn-mowing customer, Mr. Marque Earley. Mr. G. ,superior gootarist and Pepsodent® spokesperson, is ready to charm you with his raucous blues and plaintive self-inflicted toons. A great songwriter! And Marque, of course, is the finest living local saxophonist who ever lived, locally. Whooping it up on drums will be out favorite kooky cackler, Mr. Steevee Chaggaris. I’ll be on base, once again. Spring has sprung, so get out there and do the do!

Citizen, Harpist, and singer deluxe, I’ve had it on good account that he’s the man, and I’m really looking forward to squeezing out some blues with him as boss. Come cheer him on! I’ve corralled Mr. Jon Ross, meat-tearing guitarist from the boonies of Maine to serve as travel consultant. Mr. Jeff Casper, the friendly drummer will be serving canapés and queues. Mikey, long known as a silver-tongued crooner and water-slide glitarist, wrecked the joint last time around. We’re aiming for a repeat performance as he drags in his long time buddy George McCann, on Qatar, kicking and screaming. Seems these two cats had a hot band once, but now are satisfied feeding me kielbasa and listening to my bad jokes. Even Benny Benson, our Irish Ace of Pace and agitator par excellance is motivated to skim the froth and get down to the nitty gritty. So, come early and stay late.
