Celebrate Gloucester Sponsored by National Grid is the first ever concert and

celebration on the I4-C2 property at 65 Rogers Street, recently purchased by the

City of Gloucester.

Grammy-award winning national recording artists will join local legends in a

celebration of music, local food and the working waterfront to kick off Gloucester’s

downtown revitalization.

Net proceeds will be donated to The Gloucester Fund earmarked for downtown

revitalization. The Gloucester Fund will award grants based on input from the

public. Beginning next week, anyone can nominate an existing project or charity

dedicated to revitalizing downtown Gloucester. Go to CelebrateGloucester.com and

complete the Nomination Form. Beginning September 1st, people can vote for their

favorite project or charity. Voting ends September 30th. The Gloucester Fund will

divide the proceeds equally among the top 3 vote-getters.

Much of the costs are being covered by National Grid, BirdsEye, the Gloucester

Daily Times and our supporting sponsors BankGloucester, Circle Consulting, M.B.T.

Electric and RMD, Inc. These generous donors make it possible for more proceeds

to be available for The Gloucester Fund. A few sponsorships are still available.

Sponsors will be heavily promoted in traditional and new media.
