Joey, hey there my friend. I’m back in town with another schooner and thought you might like to do an article. We just finished a medical aid mission to haiti, and came to gloucester to do some repairs and such. We are over at gloucester marine railway if you wanna swing by and see the boat. You can read the story on libertyschooner.com on the sailblog. The boat is schooner Halie and Matthew. This one is a little more exciting than 15 pounds of vaseline…. cheers,

Brothers Jared and Justin Talarski In Gloucester For Repairs After Haiti Relief Mission

Jared was the second mate aboard the Lettie G last we spoke at the Schooner Festival a couple of years ago.  I interview the brothers aboard schooner Halie & Matthew at The Gloucester Marine Railways where they are in for repairs.  The stories of corruption,camaraderie and catastrophe during their two Haiti relief missions bringing supplies to the earthquake ravaged country will be told in the three part series starting tonight.
