Nov 11th the waves breaking over Dog Bar at Eastern Point breaking over Dog Bar were spectacular.

Enjoy the Slide_ Show which also contains some waves at the backshore.

Pirate Party Eastern Point

This past weekend we attended a kids birthday party on Eastern Point. I can’t think of a better setting for a pirate themed party. A real pirate even showed up and I never saw so many kids head for the hills crying! In shocking news, Eastern Point is awesome in fall as well. It was a brisk, yet clear day and you could see all the way to Boston. I got a few cool shots. Parties like this really set the bar pretty high. My 3 year old told me that because of this party she now wants two bouncy houses for her next party.

When Do We Do It Again?

Nippy on the Breakwater Today

Walked out to the end of Eastern Point Breakwater since I had never been out to the Light House and I wanted to freeze the nads off my dog. Stella thought it was a bit nippy but she made it out to the end.

The light was  flat so I jerked this around in iPhoto so the Boston skyline could be seen. This is for testing out how to get photos into flickr and posted. Not sure I am doing it right yet but I’ll figure it out. I posted a bunch more which may or may not be easily found in flicker.  If you do find them the small fury one is Stella and the one in the leather coat is my son.

Lobster Dinner Night With The Mrs

I’m not usually a fan of posed pictures (having to endure holidays with my mom lining us up for posed pictures ad nauseam).  I usually prefer action shots.  When you get a backdrop like this I’ll make an exception.  It doesn’t hurt to have the Mrs to balance out my ugly mug.
