525 and Maritime Gloucester

On May 1st if you order out or eat in at the Magnolia 525 Tavern
from 5 to 9pm, 10% of the proceeds will go to the Maritime Gloucester Ocean Explorers program!
What is the Ocean Explorers Program?
Ocean Explorers brings each 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade class in the Gloucester Public Schools system to Maritime Gloucester on fall and spring field trips to participate in hands-on marine and physical science activities.
During their spring visit to Maritime Gloucester, all students participate in one learning unit aboard the Schooner Ardelle.
In the winter, Maritime Gloucester staff present in-class lessons for our classroom partners, these place-based, hands-on, inquiry-based learning modules are what really bring the experiences to life. And all of this is provided at NO COST to the school system.

Dear Valued Customers,
We wanted to take a moment to inform you that Magnolia 525 Tavern will be temporarily closed from January 2nd, 2024, through January 8th, 2024. But don’t worry, we’ll be back and better than ever on Tuesday, January 9th, 2024!
During this brief hiatus, we are taking the time to recharge, refresh, and reflect with our beloved family and friends. We believe that this break will enable us to come back stronger and more dedicated to providing you with the exceptional dining experience you’ve come to expect.
Our team will be hard at work behind the scenes, performing extensive deep cleaning, and giving our restaurant the TLC and maintenance it deserves. We’re committed to ensuring that 2024 starts with open arms, warm hospitality, and, of course, delicious food in our cozy atmosphere.
We want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your continued support, and we can’t wait to welcome you back on January 9th. Until then, please mark your calendars, and we look forward to serving you once again with our signature dishes and a renewed spirit.
Thank you for being a part of the Magnolia 525 Tavern family. We wish you a wonderful start to the new year and look forward to sharing many memorable moments with you in 2024.

We’re so grateful for your support during this extremely difficult time. We are all facing this together and experiencing a myriad of emotions and challenges. We’ve witnessed the best in our neighbors and customers through this uncertain time and encourage you continue to support one another throughout this ordeal. Please be sure to check on friends and neighbors (and take care of yourself, too!)

We thank you for your patience while we transform our sit down restaurant into a take out haven! Also, keep in mind that some foods travel better than others, so please be kind as we do our best to replicate the sit down experience in your to go box!

On Wednesday was honored to take some photos and taste the new fall/winter food and drinks at 525.   Everything was so delicious.  Please make a date and visit 525 Tavern to enjoy a great dining experience.  From their Free Range Chicken to the Balsamic Fig & Chevre Pizza everything was served with a lovely presentation.  525 makes their own pasta right on site.
