Are your clothes taking longer than normal to dry? Are your clothes coming out extremely hot? Do you notice a burning or musty smell coming from your dryer? If you answered yes to any of these questions, give the experts here at LCI Services a call! We are here to help with your dryer vent cleaning and repairs.Did you know….?! According to the National Fire Protection Association, nearly 17,000 home clothes dryer fires are reported each year. These clothes dryer fires cause around 51 deaths, 380 injuries, and $236 million in property loss. Unsurprisingly, the leading cause of these fires, at 34%, is the failure to clean dryer vents..Give today to schedule your dryer vent cleaning!

Maritime Gloucester held a “Launch Into Summer” event on the Harbor Loop docks last night and it was a grand success. The event was sold out and, even though there was a chill in the air, a grand time was had outside under the tent enjoying Burnham’s Catering. The museum on the Harbor Loop has significant updates to show off, especially in the area of education. They plan to re-open for the season next weekend and I encourage you to stop down for a visit. Memberships are available which I would encourage you to consider as it’s likely you will want to go back often!

The Gloucester Genealogy Group will have its first meeting on Saturday, May 21 from 10 am โ 12 pm at the Sawyer Free Library.
Local History Librarian, Julie Travers, will walk you through the very first steps for beginning your genealogy search using online resources available through the library. After a tutorial, you will be able to practice creating a family tree chart of your own. Beginners and experts are welcome to attend, as there will be time for sharing your own research after the tutorial. Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptop, however, the library will have several available for use during the workshop.
The Gloucester Genealogy Clubโs monthly meetings will consist of tutorials, how-toโs, and special presentations and events by expert genealogists. Keep an eye out for future meetings.
This first meeting will take place in the Friends Room of the Sawyer Free Libraryโฆ
