Lobsta Land on Causeway St was open for a rare Monday so we jumped on the opportunity to celebrate Margarita Monday there last week. The blackberry margarita was mixed to perfection and was deliciously refreshing. We had a late lunch which included the Fisherman’s platter (holy cow) and a turkey club (“real” turkey!). It was a lovely afternoon celebrating Margarita Monday!

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Bubble tea (also known as pearl milk tea, bubble milk tea, tapioca milk tea, boba tea, or boba; Chinese: 珍珠奶茶; pinyin: zhēnzhū nǎichá, 波霸奶茶; bōbà nǎichá) is a tea-based drink that originated in Taiwan in the early 1980s.[1][2] Taiwanese immigrants brought it to the United States in the 1990s, initially in California through regions including Los Angeles County,[3] but the drink has also spread to other sates and countries.

“Here is a world where nature is not limited by the rules of nature. Fish can fly and houses are vessels that breathe. In this world Mystery is normal”.
Enjoy the art, the ocean and mingle with artists and collectors. Feel the vibrancy, magic and creative spirit of the Rocky Neck Art Colony. This Exhibition is open to all.
Date: Thursday, July 18, 2024
Time: 4PM to 7PM EST
Location: Side Street Gallery 17 Rocky Neck Avenue, Gloucester, MA 01930
Spokespeople: Mary Hughes Gallery Owner; Kate Nordstrom Presenting Artist
About the Artist: Kate Nordstrom is from mid-coast Maine, a place of varied landscapes and arresting beauty. She hascreated a vocabulary of familiar symbols which inhabit her work. When words fail to express her thoughts, they might manifest in her art.
She does not draw from photos. Her process is rendered through improvised imagination. Willowy poppies share the canvas with joyful songbirds and yellow houses. Midnight crows and shark fish might appear together or be a single subject in a composition. A rabbit leaps along the arc of a starry night. A dose of whimsy, pronounced color and unexpected objects skip in and out of compositions with the only aim to delight and ignite curiosity.
About the Gallery:
Located in Gloucester’s Rocky Neck Art Colony, Sidestreet Gallery finds and represents highly skilled contemporary craft, folk and fine artists from around the world both celebrated and undiscovered. In addition to paintings Side Street is the home of Hughes Bosca’s unusual fine 18K BOLD Gold jewelry.
