Last week my friend Catherine and her family gave me a stick-on bird feeder for my window, along with a bag of wild bird food. Janet installed it last Saturday, May 3rd. I was told that birds will discover the seed banquet in a few days to a week. I can't wait to say "Hello Birdie!"

Today clouds and sun with a chance of a few instability showers after noontime .. Highs in the 50’s with a gusty north west wind 15-25mph diminishing late in the day … Monday night clouds break showers dissipate .. North west winds 10-15mph lows in the 40’s …

Rubber Duck Dreaming of Future Gin & Tonics With Lime

Rubber Duck is trying to convince Joey to buy a lime tree. Fragrant blossoms that turn into limes that are the tastiest limes for Bombay Gin and Schweppes Tonic. Or skip the tonic, just gin on ice and a nice fact wedge of lime ripened on the tree.

After spending the winter in the dusty old shop the lime tree is so happy to be outside in the fresh air and sun. A blast of fertilizer a few weeks ago and it is already cranking out the flowers for this summer’s gin & tonics, and pad thai.

Spring is here! The crew has been working for weeks and the Lannon is ready to start another season.

The Lannon starts sailing next weekend, Sat. & Sun., May 10 & 11 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. We’ll be sailing just on weekends for awhile.  

Two specials on Opening Weekend: 

On Saturday, tickets are $25/p. Reservations can be made online at www.schooner.org/book-online. Promotion code is openingday.

In honor of Mother’s Day, Mom sails free on Sunday, May 11. The fine print: She must be accompanied by a passenger (of any age) paying full fare. Reservations can be made online at www.schooner.org/book-online. Promotion code is mom. 

Ticket prices have not gone up: $40/adults; $35/seniors (65 +), and $27.50/kids (0-16).
