Super bummed. My entire family wants to watch 15 episodes of Daredevil on Netflix tonight. Murder, mayhem. Awful. I want to watch Pee-Wee’s Big Holiday which is now streaming on Netflix!
It debuted at SXSW on Friday! Totally awesome. It has hot female bank robbers and balloons and two women fighting over Pee-Wee! OK, maybe not that last one. Ten farmer’s daughters. Yeah, that’s it.
Is anyone having a Pee-Wee viewing party tonight and can I be invited? I will bring Cheetos and Mister T cereal and tacos made in the basement of the Alamo! Can Rubber Duck come too?

This jam is open to any style and all are welcome. If we get a good turnout we will split it up into two sessions, one in the front and one in the second room “pickin’ parlor”.
Free refreshments (cider, water, cookies, pastry)

A wonderful evening at Sista Felicia’s for San Giuseppe. The food was amazing as always.
Beginning in the early 1900s, the American Father’s Day was brought to Italy, a sort of reverse sharing of holidays! Fittingly, in Italy, Father’s Day is celebrated on Saint Joseph’s Day.

On Tuesday evening, March 22 at 7 o’clock, Awesome Gloucester will team up with the Gloucester Education Foundation to award two $1000 micro-grants to student groups with innovative ideas on how to make their community more awesome. The following four students groups will pitch their ideas to a panel of judges and members of the community:
Spring Car Maintenance: The GHS Automotive Shop would like to start a program to provide Senior Citizens and Veterans free car maintenance in the spring (e.g., wider blade replacement, oil changes, tire checks).
Fruit for the Future: High School students would like to purchase apple tree seedlings to plant at all local public schools.
Library Commons Renovations: High School students would like to renovate the school library, making it a more creative, student-friendly atmosphere.
Spring Clean Up: The NHS and Student Council would like to purchase and plant flowers around the school campus as a component of their annual spring clean-up initiative.
Two winners will be awarded $1,000 in cash, on the spot, with no strings attached. Pitch Night will take place in the GHS cafeteria and is open to the public.
This month proposals were accepted only from GHS students, normally the Gloucester chapter of the Awesome Foundation solicits proposals from the entire community and chooses the top ideas to attend a public Pitch Night on the evening of the third Monday. Submitters make their case before the 20 local trustees who have each donated $50 toward the monthly award. The top vote getters walk away with $1000 in cash. Proposals to make Gloucester more awesome can be made at Awesome Gloucester.

Hello! My name is Hannah and I am a Super Senior!

I am a friendly girl with both people and other cats. My previous owner said I am like a puppy because I respond well to questions like “would you like to play” and “where’s your toy?” I like to be held, petted and am a total lap cat but I am not a fan of having my ears touched. I am declawed in my front paws so I need to be a completely indoors only cat. I am considered special needs because I have asthma. I am currently on steroids for the asthma, and have been responding well to the medication. I have not had any wheezing problems here at the shelter and the veterinarian says I should go into a non-smoking home. So, do you think you have the time for a special girl like me? Then stop by and visit with me today! The Super Senior Program is made possible in part by a grant from the Petco Foundation.
Visit www.capeannanimalaid.org for more information and to check out all of the available cats and dogs at the Christopher Cutler Rich Animal Shelter.

Between this 2008 Weber One Touch Gold and the Smokey Joe Silver I cooked at least 6 times a week all spring/summer/fall of 2015. They were both long overdue for a thorough cleaning and restoration. The good thing about Weber kettles is that their finish is so durable, even the worst crud build up and nastiest looking grills can be restored with a little elbow grease and a few inexpensive supplies.
Following the guides from The Weber Kettle Club I picked up a cheap razor scraper that came with 10 extra razor blades and some extra fine #0000 steel wool. A small flathead screwdriver helped get bits of gunk out of some tiny tough spots.
