We were very happy to welcome the Baltimore Orioles back to the yard once again this spring. As we expected, the males came first followed shortly after by the females. We are hosting at least 2 pairs. Their bright colors, loud chirping and courting rituals have made the window to the backyard our favorite viewing spot.

Want to help alleviate the impact of hunger here on Cape Ann? Donating to help stock the shelves at The Open Door is as easy as leaving a bag of nonperishable food by your mailbox this Saturday for Gloucester AND Rockport residents thanks to local letter carriers.
Each year, members of the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) organize the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive to collect donations of food in their communities. Donations on Cape Ann will be delivered directly to The Open Door.
Most needed donations include:
The Open Door asks the community to please avoid donating anything in glass containers.
Locally, the Ipswich and Manchester-by-the-Sea post offices are also participating in this year’s Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.
Those that live in communities other than Gloucester, Rockport, Manchester-by-the-Sea, or Ipswich can check with their local post office to see if they are participating in this weekend’s food drive.

In 2015 the first livestream began. Over the years, with a lot of hard work, it has grown into a great amenity for an international audience to view our unique sporting events. Each year the livestream continues to grow, and our group continues to look for new and exciting ideas to incorporate. With each year’s growth, it requires additional people and resources. To date, the organizations involved do so by volunteering their time, skills, and covering the expenses out of pocket.
Last year, we had over 170,000 live views throughout the weekend! Streamography’s broadcast can be viewed through Bridge Cape Ann’s YouTube channel and Facebook page, as well as 1623 Studios to reach every cable subscriber on Cape Ann. (You may have noticed how many local venues hosted Fiesta watch parties!) And for the third straight year, LiveNOW from Fox – a massive online network operated by Fox Television Stations – will be sharing our live coverage around the world for all three days of the main sporting events!
As a member of the Fiesta Committee, I want to offer various sponsorship opportunities to your business or organization to support our efforts. This year we are offering 3 tiers of sponsorship options for businesses and organizations interested in reaching our audience (Sponsorship Flyer Attached).
If you are not familiar with the St. Peter’s Fiesta Livestream, here is a link of last year’s event to see our passion in providing local tradition, cultural history, along with the livestream of our events!

The St. Peter’s Fiesta Livestream Committee aligns with local businesses core values on being a part of the Cape Ann community while providing locals with the best services possible. By becoming a sponsor of this event, you will be provided with:
We are confident that a partnership with you would be mutually beneficial. We would welcome the opportunity to discuss this opportunity further. Please feel free to send a private message or email us at stpetersfiesta.org@gmail.com with any questions!

The Rocky Neck Art Colony is thrilled to announce “Energy of Color,” an immersive and vibrant new exhibition at the historic Cove Gallery, located at 37 Rocky Neck Avenue in the heart of Gloucester’s Rocky Neck Cultural District.
This dazzling show features the work of North Shore artists who draw inspiration from the striking hues and natural beauty of Cape Ann and beyond. Whether rooted in the shimmering coastal light or influenced by far-flung travels, each piece in this exhibition offers a unique interpretation of color’s emotional and expressive power.
“Energy of Color” explores the profound relationship between artists and their environments. The distinct palettes of land, sea, and sky influence both conscious and instinctive artistic choices. The result is a body of work that pulses with life, emotion, and a deep sense of place.
“Color is more than a visual experience—it’s memory, mood, and moment,” says painter and curator Nic Bannerman. “This show invites viewers to feel the world as we do—through the lens of color.”
Visitors will experience a dynamic range of media, including painting, ceramics, and photography, all unified by their passionate engagement with color as a storytelling force.
Exhibiting Artists:
· Nic Bannerman (Painter, Curator)
The Rocky Neck Art Colony also gratefully acknowledges the generous donation of space by Mark Goetemann, honoring the legacy of his late parents, Gordon, and Judith Goetemann—beloved artists and lifelong champions of creative excellence. Their former home and gallery continue to nurture art and community in the spirit of their vision.
Join us at Cove Gallery to celebrate the brilliant interplay of nature, history, and human expression—where the energy of color comes vividly to life.
