Burnham House in Winter

My View of Life on the Dock

On Thursday with the sun and less wind, Good Harbor had lots of surfers, Stand Up Paddle boarders and walkers taking advantage of the sunshine. The below paddle boarder was actually in Magnolia Harbor.

1:32pm look for the crazy bird watchers.

This caught my eye on my morning coffee ride…something about a red barn or house when there’s a little snow on the ground. A quick click for now but I’m going to have to revisit this spot again when we get more snow.
Lovely crisp afternoon at Goose Cove Reservoir. The blue shadows are deceptive ice cover.

So quiet last evening with the sun going down, by the way it was almost 5:00, know that the summer is coming and the excitement of the first time jumpers off the pier will be here soon.
Thursday was a beautiful day in Gloucester, it was still cold but the sun was warm. The sun finished the beautiful day with a glorious display!

The eerily quiet beaches of winter seem to cast shadows of long lost summer days. Soon enough.
