Good Morning Gloucester

My friend Brenda suggested this might make a good Mother’s Day card, so I decided to  make it so! Happy Mother’s  Day to all. It seems a mother’s work is never done even for cardinals.

Where would we be without our Ma?

Simple answer- Nowhere. It’s all impossible without her.

So selfless, so giving, always there. We got pretty damn lucky to have our “Ma” be our Ma.

Egrets apparently indicate that a prosperous time is near or has arrived. I know I always feel very lucky to come upon them.  I am jealous of how graceful they usually look….except maybe when they are windblown like this day. Now I don’t feel so bad if my overdue-for-a-haircut hair gets blown around in the wind!

I received a lovely selection of pop up wildlife from my children for Mother’s Day. They know how much I enjoy studying our backyard birds as well as bigger raptors. It’s a really cool gift. Maybe they make them in hummingbirds? Someone send one to our boss Joey please.

I know I spend lots of time talking about restaurants because I just happen to have food on my brain all the time.

But there will be a time when our beauty and nail salons will open back up for business and when they do you can bet your ass that your mom is going to want to be pampered.

We have a wonderful community of beauty salon workers that can use your support and one way to do that is to buy gift certificates for the moms in your life.

It’s an easy purchase and they sure could use your support.

They are important contributors to our local economy, let’s not forget them. 

I know Kate, Felicia and my Mom consider these people close like family and your wives, moms and sisters probably feel the same way.
