For those of you wondering if there would be a Gloucester Lobster Trap Tree it looks like it’s a go!

My View of Life on the Dock

Here’s the new intro! (listen to the end)
I used Fiverr to create this killer animation for the podcast If you sign up with my referral link you can get up to $100 in free freelance design work for just about anything you can think of HTTP://WWW.FIVERR.COM/S2/B83E3A52CD
Fiverr is a game changer. You can view examples of the service providers previous work and see if it’s the style that you’re looking for. The costs are right there for you to see and you can read the reviews from people that have used them before and filter the person you want to hire a bunch of different ways. From logo design, business card design to voiceover work, to video design any kind of digital work you can imagine usually within 24 hours!
How cute are these?

I took a trip down to do some shopping at Finn’s favorite store at Patriot Place. After some time at Bass Pro Shops I wanted to go to the ProShop at Gillette and I happened to be right outside the stadium gates at 1:00. While the pregame festivities inside the stadium may have sounded like a typical game day (minus the thousands of rowdy fans)…nothing else seemed right. As they played the hype music, introduced the starting lineup, and then sang the National Anthem…..there were maybe six people in sight. As I shopped some more, it was so strange to know that a Patriots home game was taking place right there and, if you didn’t know it was game day, you could have totally missed it. Sigh.
These photos were taken at 12:50…..for a 1:00 start. And, see the video below.

The almost-full moon helped the festive lighting at Stage Fort Park seem even brighter and more joyful. I think Carol Mondello is probably responsible for the lighting at the Visitors Center, so thank you! It look great. Mother Nature did a much better job showing off the moon than these cell photos, but I think it still looks pretty wonderful.

Still activity around us, as family was reassigned to Zoom.

Dear Joe: attached are a few photos of the Dogtown Common Babson Bowls I have been making in my studio on sale now for this Holiday Season. They are wheel thrown , and then the Roger Babson messages are carved into them, bisque fired, Glazed and then They are all high fired by my friend and fellow potter Marty Morgan in her gas kiln. Phew! Quite a process.
I love that Roger Babson’s messages from over 100 years ago are relevant today in this time, in this moment.
I’m donating one of these bowls for your live podcast raffles next week.
Happy Holidays! Nina

@WeberGrills Family Q 300 Reverse Sear Chairman Reserve Ribeye. Love the two burner Q for reverse searing. Easy peasy. I think between the thick grates for an excellent maillard reaction and the separate burners the Family Q makes for a great reverse searing machine! An almost full moon shone brightly over the Kent Circle Tree Lightning last night. The virtual lighting was held at the circle under COVID precautions but felt cheerful nevertheless.
