Gloucester Superintendent Ben Lummis:

“It seems like in the last few years in Gloucester there’s been a shift with more immigrant families in town- are you seeing that in schools? Does it have any impact on the way the schools work?”

“Even in this tough year I keep hearing good things- school sports have kept functioning- the high school field house got renovated and basketball is starting! Tell me about some other good things that are happening”

“Gloucester kids have been in school since the beginning of the school year when it seems like all the surrounding towns haven’t been able to do that. How did you pull it off in Gloucester?”

Did you know that you can buy Locally made, all Natural Soap and pick it up Curbside in Gloucester in time for Christmas? We’re giving away a Drift Soap Gift Bag on Tomorrow’s Podcast To Someone That Shares It On Facebook and Comments “Shared” during the live stream

Here are 3 Great Reasons to Give the gift of Natural Soap this Holiday Season:
#1 You’ll help encourage clean living! Each day, the average person slathers on countless toxic, chemical ingredients onto their bodies just by using commercial name brand soaps, lotions, and other routine skincare products.Commercial soaps can contain harmful chemicals, synthetic fragrances, alcohol, GMO oils, preservatives plus other “junk” ingredients that are known to damage & irritate the skin. Give natural gifts this year to encourage friends and family to be conscious of what they’re putting on their skin!
#2 They make Wonderful stocking stuffers!Drift soaps smell amazing and are the perfect size for stocking stuffers! It’s not just any soap casually stuffed in a stocking. Your recipients will experience the difference with the soap’s thick lather & natural moisture barrier. Each bar of our soap is made with organic Shea butter, botanicals, essential oils, (found in some, but not all of our scents), and a blend of non-GMO plant based oils for a touch of moisture. Stuff our natural soaps in your family’s stockings this year!
#3 You will be supporting a small, local business!Do you know where your Christmas gifts come from? When you choose Drift Soap, you’re choosing to give your friends and family gifts that are made by a small business in Gloucester, MA! Giving the gift of local & natural means your gifts are handcrafted with love using premium ingredients — no chemicals and no junk!
As you’re thinking about what gifts to buy for your friends & family this holiday season, consider giving the gift of healthy skin. Quality, natural soaps make great holiday gifts. Plus, Drift Soap Company makes it easy to find wonderful products & gift sets at an affordable price point:

Update on Cape Ann Big Band and the Jambalaya Horns are here to spread some Holiday Cheer this season! 12.19.2020

JHORNS BREAKING NEWS: Due to residual snow accumulation, street/sidewalk conditions we need to alter tonight’s caroling routes in order to keep everyone safe. Please see the attached flyer for our mini-neighborhood drops on location. Happy Holidays!!!

Greetings Friends!

Please read this through as there is some important information regarding our Mission to spread the Magic this Holiday Season!
1. We’ve tried our best to reach as many neighborhoods as possible, but due to weather, and a pending storm, we’ve had to reschedule some of our previously released dates and times.
2. REMINDER – COVID Safety First and Foremost – During any other time we would love to share the music and moment by having people join, sing, and parade with us. However, in order to keep everyone safe we ask that you enjoy the music at a distance of 6-10ft and refrain from joining or parading. This is a hard thing to ask, but we look forward to doing this again next year and having you join in!
3. Many of you have inquired about Tips or Donations. Yes, of course we accept, but our mission is simply to spread the Joy and Cheer! This has been a difficult time for all, and musicians and artists alike have been without work for nearly a year. If you would like to Tip the group we have a Venmo set up at JHorns or JambalayaHorns. https://venmo.com/u/JambalayaHorns
4. We are grateful for YOU, our community. Whether it’s the full Cape Ann Big Band, a performance with the students at O’maley, or our regular playing around the island, we know well that none of it is possible without your support! The past 2 weeks have been truly MAGICAL!
Wishing you health and happiness this Holiday season!
