On Sunday our family of ten turkeys flew into the trees during the middle of the day (never seen that before). Some relocated to the coastal rocks in the afternoon (never seen that before). Maybe the two Red Foxes, first in the driveway and then down on the rocks, had something to do with this odd behaviour?

We found ourselves in Magnolia a few days ago in time for sunset. Our friend Donna Ardizzoni is my mentor in this special time of day in Magnolia, and, of course she was there as well taking her own gorgeous shots. Some of these are a little different than her view and I thought you might enjoy them.

My obsessions with the January sunsets in Magnolia

The sunsets in Magnolia at this time of the year are amazing.  Facing south west gives the best colors in the winter.  Shore Road has many of the same people walking and taking photos at sunset.  We are called the Sunset club.
