Conley’s Drug Store joins with Cruiseport Gloucester to bring a COVID-19 vaccination clinic to eligible Cape Ann residents. The clinic will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2021 from 11AM – 3PM at the Cruiseport Gloucester located at 6 Rowe Square.
This vaccination clinic is for residents of Gloucester, Essex and Rockport age 75 and older and their caregivers. Residents MUST register on-line ahead of time for the event. The link to register: https://hipaa.jotform.com/210420255388148
On the day of the event, people who have registered for the vaccine should park in the lower lot of the Cruiseport and enter on the lower level.
I would like to thank our community partners Conley’s Drug Store and Cruiseport Gloucester for reaching out to the Cape Ann residents to bring our seniors the opportunity to get the vaccine. Many of our Cape Ann organizations and businesses have stepped up during this time to support and I appreciate the hard work of all.
We are fortunate to have a hard working team on our Board of Health and volunteers who care about our community. We are in this together and I couldn’t be more proud.

As we were leaving yesterday’s podcast from Mom’s Kitchen (great BLT!), we set the GPS to go to Ipswich River Craft to pick up an order. We defied the GPS voice and took 133 toward Ipswich. As she was repeating endlessly “Route recalculation” “Route recalculation” and we were trying to tune it out; an eagle suddenly flew alongside us to land in a tree near the tracks near Tony Tally’s. It was as if it was trying to redirect us also. Which it did since we followed it and stopped for some pictures. It was calling so loudly I was sure its mate was over my shoulder. It flew off in the general direction of the water alone still seeking its partner. So, I guess it pays to go off the recommended path sometimes! And right in West Gloucester saving a drive to Medford!

Cake Explosion Gift a Big Hit

We recently sent our daughter this “exploding” cake. It was meant as a surprise but I accidentally ruined the butterfly surprise. That actually turned out to be a blessing because I had the opportunity to ask her to record the box opening. It was a fun gift that cost about $60 to send….well worth it for this occasion.
