Gloucester, MA Windover Construction and HDS Architecture are nearing completion of Halyard, a modern apartment community. Named after the rope used for raising and lowering a boat’s sail, Halyard incorporates design influences from the coastal Cape Ann community. This is the latest development for The Dolben Company and consists of three four-story buildings surrounding a one-story clubhouse and outdoor amenities.

Halyard features a mix of studio, one, and two-bedroom apartments with spacious layouts and high-end finishes. The 5,000 s/f clubhouse provides amenities to all residents, including an on-demand fitness center, game room, Amazon Hub, and great room for social gatherings, as well as the leasing office and a model unit.

Our adult male turkeys are still courting the women, while one of the younger students encountered an intruder with red feathers. We moved on before he gave up pacing back and forth.

A smart way to use paper plates

Since we are doing our kitchen over and my dishes are on my porch and the dishwasher is also on the porch, saw these plates. I do not like to just throw things away and these dishes are compostable and break down right way. You can put them in your compost pile. Another way to help the environment.

Russell Orchards is Open!

Russell Orchards in Ipswich has opened for the season. We always like to stop there when we drive up that way. Keep up with their news at their website. I saw some new items and old favorites. Now that we have a baby in our lives, I took extra care to notice the children’s section which was full of interesting items. Staff was friendly and helpful as they always are. We brought home a few treats!

Magnolia Eagles in the Morning

“Our” eagles have been hanging around the marsh recently here in Magnolia and this morning I was able to have my coffee with a pair of eagles on the side! They really are magnificent. What a blessing to have them nearby. For additional photos please visit Pat D’s Photos and Adventures on Facebook.
