My View of Life on the Dock

In case you need a smile. I have been hatching ducks and they are beyond adorable. Please enjoy this little video of then happily splashing in a super shallow pan of warm water at just 2-3 days old. We have 14 of them and I swear they each have their very own personality! Click on post to see the video.

You cannot help but wonder about so much in this scene on Main Street yesterday. I’ve never really thought much about how packaging is packaged. Or how this can be controlled once opened. My forecast calls for imminent showers….of pink foam peanuts…..

Tonno was displaying a sandwich sign on Main Street noting they were offering brunch on Monday, the Memorial Day holiday and we impulsively decided to give it a try. I think the weather kept some of the bigger crowds away and we were able to sit at the bar for our meal. We were served efficiently and in a friendly manner, as we always are when we visit Tonno. It was delightful to sit at the bar and the lunch/brunch menu was more than adequate.
I ordered Lobster Benedict and Jim had the breakfast flatbread. They were very satisfying. I enjoyed the homemade English muffin as well as just the right amount of hollandaise. The company and the atmosphere is always stellar, the food unfailingly good. Try Tonno for lunch or brunch on the weekends.

They canceled Fiesta. They Canceled The Horribles Parade. So where can they not tell us what to do? Out on the water. Let’s gooooooo!!!!! Was it over when the Germans Bombed Pearl Harbor???
I know it’s not for a while, but I wanna get in front of this. The boats that have participated in the past have done an outstanding job and I’m tired of them having all the fun. This year lets make this year’s Boat Parade Of Lights Uuuuge!
What could be more fun?
