Moving to Heal Nia is a slower, less intensive class with less standing and more done in the chair. Great for people with injuries or conditions that make it hard to participate in a classic Nia class. Also good for people getting back into exercise. Wave action along the back shore drew me nearer to the shoreline to take some pictures. These sweet little birds drew me to remain longer than I would have otherwise. About a half dozen of these were flitting back and forth taking advantage of the treats left behind by the waves.






We are just back from a week in the Southwest, with family in the small town of Ridgway, Colorado, and a side trip to Santa Fe, New Mexico. My sister and family moved west in the 1970s and became successful ranchers, as well as advocates for local culture and preservation. I post these photographs here, because I see connections with our values on Cape Ann.











Self-admittedly I have very little bird knowledge. These two were right next to each other at the dock.

Please note that due to very limited parking at the Green, we will be shuttling people to and from the event from the Pleasant Street campus.Please plan to park downtown and gather at the courtyard of the museum’s downtown campus, 27 Pleasant Street.
