A mash-up of Louisiana grit, Austin soul, and low-down Chicago heat, blues harmonica powerhouse Greg
Izor is on a roll. Aer a successful run in Louisiana and appearances at New Orleans Jazz fest /Jazz Fest
harmonica shows, Izor packed up his harps and set his sights on Ausn. In Ausn, Izor connected with
the blues icons that have called Austin home – Pinetop Perkins, Gary Primich, Derek O’Brien, Denny
Freeman, and Marcia Ball – and newer players like the Fabulous Thunderbirds’ Mike Keller, Johnny
Moeller, and Nick Curran. He has been described by Living Blues Magazine as “That all-too-rare total
package- a creative vocalist, harp player, songwriter, and showman.” Izor also landed the gig fronting
the legendary Texas band Anson Funderburgh and the Rockets

Davis’ incredible trio, “Johnny Carwash”. But, that’s just the
beginning! March 13 marks Brother JB’s 71st birthday!
Sitting in with the band on this night, JB has been close friends
with Bob since the Beatles were babies. In fact, it was Davis
himself who introduced JB to the very guitar that started the entire Amero journey so many, many years ago. Thus, we
celebrate. 20 years of Johnny Carwash, 50 years since JBand Bob have performed publicly together – and… 71 years of

So, look out for something a lil different. I’ve got John Cameron, fleet-fingered piano perfessor to tinkle the ivories, Steevee Sadler to mortar the cracks, and Andrew “Pops” Jones lubricatin’ that second line beat. Portugal, where he has become a celebrated and worshipped folk hero. Odd, since he’s so
well-known for bringing DOWN the house wherever he performs. Lucky for us all, though, he’ll
be concentrating his amazing powers toward hosting this week’s Rhumb Line Wednesday
Extravaganza in my absence (I’ll be on a string of Orleans dates in California). Thank you,
almighty powerful Mr. Royds! Bradley’s musical guest this week will be the very talented and
popular Jake Pardee, a powerhouse in his own right (and write)!
