So Salty 2026

Even though the temperature was 11 degrees.  Rick and walked Main Street to see the ice sculptures.  They were amazing and well worth walking and checking out the ice sculptures.  Since it is only 11 degrees, I think these fun sculptures will be around for awhile.

Walking Stacy Boulevard with the cold air in my face

On Wednesday decided to take a walk on the Boulevard.  It was cold but the air was clear and felt good.

Cold and windy sunset

Did not spend much time walking Shore Road on Tuesday night.  Temperature and wind were intense.  This may sound crazy, but the fresh air does revitalize your spirit.

My new friend

Even with the dreary skies, this cute seal was very happy on the rocks.  This seal was far out, but it looked like this cutie was looking right at me.

Half hour after sunset

There is a term called the Golden Hour, an hour before sunset and an hour after.  As the sun goes down, the color can continue.

The Cut Bridge

As the city finds way to get over the Cut Bridge, the workers seem to be polite and working hard. Traffic is moving with the corporation of drivers.

A walk on Stacy Boulevard

We are lucky to be able to have Stacy Boulevard to take a walk.  The Boulevard is always interesting and enjoyable.

Hammond Castle

Reblogged from the Hammon Castle FaceBook Page.  Very impressive numbers for this great Castle.

During our 2025 season, we issued 93,000 admission tickets at Hammond Castle Museum. Families created memories together, students discovered new ideas, and guests of all ages found moments of joy, inspiration, and connection. Whether your visit sparked curiosity, offered a sense of wonder, or became a cherished tradition, we are grateful that the Museum was part of your year.

We look forward to sharing all that we have planned for the 2026 season in the coming weeks!

After sunset

On Sunday went down to the Magnolia Pier with the Sunset Club.  We all needed to rest up for the Patriots Game.  The after sunset was amazing.
