I love to take a walk around 5:00 pm on Magnolia Beach. The clouds have been pretty even though not much of beach weather this week. It looked like the geese were having a convention.

Cloudy weather does not divert from the beauty of mother nature. Love the lone sail with Boston in the background. Also, if you look closely, you can see a plane taking off and an egret.

“Sounds of Vienna” in Annnisquam

The Essex Piano Trio brings “The Sounds of Vienna -Then and Now” to the Annisquam Village Church on Saturday, June 17, at 7:30 PM. Violinist Ashley Offret, Cellist David Cabral, and pianist Beverly Soll play works of Schubert, Mozart, Pärt, Bolcom, Beethoven, and Haydn.
In its signature ‘Conversation among Friends’ manner, the Trio’s survey of Viennese repertoire resembles a musical feast, with Schubert’s Piano Trio in B flat major as the ‘main course.’ Other delights emanating from the Austrian ‘city of dreams’ complete the musical menu.
The historic, 1830’s Village Church is an ideal venue for chamber music, with its intimate proportions, its wonderful acoustics, and its beautiful Steinway. Located at 820 Washington Street, Gloucester, MA.Parking allowed along Washington and Leonard Streets. Suggested donation is $25. The church is handicap accessible, and a reception of Viennese delights will follow the performance in the downstairs Cove Room.

Even in the rain and cold on Sunday, so many customers came out to shop. Thank you all. The music was great with Reset Button.

The beach on Friday, by the way, every day for me was terrific. Did notice there was a haze from the fires in Nova Scotia. Incredible how the wind can bring the spoke all that way.

Walking on Shore Road never disappoints, actually no matter where you walk, it does not disappoints,

On Tuesday this pretty small cruise ship was in port. When at the visitor’s center at Stage Fort some passengers came in. So fun to talk to visitors visiting Gloucester. The smaller ships seem to have their passengers spend time locally, which is great.
