My View of Life on the Dock

The Open Door Ribbon Cutting was held on Saturday in the snow and rain. A huge turnout for this great community organization.
The address for The Open Door is 26 Emerson Avenue, Gloucester, MA 01930

A. Philip Bouchie, Jr. passed away last January. He was the Acting Lieutenant of the Gloucester Fire Department. On Wednesday, January 13, 2016 there was a dedication to Lt. Bouchie with a bench in his name on Magnolia Beach. The winds were blowing and the temperatures were in the 20’s but the warmth of the crowd exhibited how much the Gloucester Fire Fighter was respected

Heard from Dave Moore the other day. His wife fracture a bone and sending her our best. Dave also sent me this beautiful card for a Happy New Year 2016.

As soon as I saw the Sea Smoke, had to go to Shore Road, Sea Smoke is awesome.

Since the weather is starting to get cold and nasty the One Hour at a Time Gang will be taking a break for the winter. This does not mean we will not be picking up. We always carry a yellow bag to try and keep our city clean. Also the city has passed a motion on litter. Please read below the information on this motion. The motion states that cigarette butts are litter. Please remember to dispose your smoking materials properly and not on the streets, rivers or oceans.
