I Am More Project

Dear I Am More Subjects,

I thought the portraits would be having a rest this month, but after staff from SeniorCare Inc. here in Gloucester saw the Rockport display they jumped at the chance to have the portraits for June. Below is an open invitation they put together that you can feel free to pass along and you are welcome to attend if you’d like to mingle and answer questions.

Happy Summer!

Amy

SeniorCare is pleased to host Amy Kerr’s “I Am More” exhibit, featuring artwork and personal stories of sixteen North Shore people.  This impactful exhibit reminds us that we are more than our mental challenges.

A reception will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2019, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at SeniorCare’s offices, located at 49 Blackburn Center in Gloucester. In addition, the exhibit may be viewed on Friday afternoons in June from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.  Anyone wishing to view the exhibit at a different time may call 978-281-1750 and request a private viewing.

Nice day on Sunday to go see the Santa Maria in Newburyport.  Of course it is a replica but very impressive.  The next stop is the Great Lakes.

Magnolia Community Farmers’ Market

Hello Gloucester and neighboring communities! We are super excited and looking forward to our first farmers market this season, Sunday morning June 9, 9am-12pm. We are currently still taking applications, and would love to add any local purveyors selling their jams, jellies, honey, eggs, cheeses and/or dairy, baked goods, and produce. If you or someone you know would love the exposure for your business and the opportunity to further build your customer base, please contact us for a vendor application. We are looking forward to building a vibrant market and we want you to be a part of it!  See you there

The Magnolia Community Farmer’s Market will reopen in June of 2019 with a new line up of vendors, followers, entertainment and community purpose. We hope to offer favorite flavors, produce and products, created and operated by local vendors, crafters, artisans, farmers, purveyors, bakers, and chefs. Our dedicated team will strive to provide the very best in local goods while creating a new avenue to give back to our community. Funds raised by the MCFM will directly benefit the enrichment of Magnolia.
