A Little Personal History to Start!

Hi, my name is Charlene delaney.  I’m  a Tennessee girl that traveled the country and world my first 20 years with my father who was serving his country.  My life took me to a lot of our country and  some of the world.  Most of my teen years in Europe, but have to give a shout out to South Korea.  Forty-six years ago a guy I was dating brought me to dinner at the Surf in Magnolia and then took me for a ride around the back shore of Gloucester, what he called the most beautiful, peaceful place he knew, one he had come to for years, a truly happy place.  I think I fell in love with him and Gloucester that night.  He was a Marblehead guy that became my husband, but throughout the years Gloucester was always a happy place for us.  Seventeen years ago we moved here full time and without a doubt I love this beautiful city more than any other place I’ve lived.  It has changed over the years but has always gotten better.  The people and places of this city fill my heart with love!

Hope my post will give you a new appreciation for the City where I  live, work and play.
