Causeway restaurant eggplant parm

Causeway restaurant eggplant parm $10, delicious, and enough to feed two or three people. It’s that time of year to put the Causeway into your rotation as there’s a much better chance of getting a table in the off-season.

ROCKY NECK PLEDGE TO PLUNGE SHEET ADD YOUR NAME TO THE LIST IN THE COMMENTS

I PLEDGE TO DUNK MY HEAD COMPLETELY UNDERWATER AT OAKES COVE BEACH JANUARY 1, 2019 AT NOON FOR THE ROCKY NECK POLAR PLUNGE.  I ALSO PLEDGE TO BRING EITHER CANNED GOODS, NON PERISHABLES OR MONEY TOP DONATE TO THE OPEN DOOR TO HELP FEED PEOPLE IN NEED.

I’LL ALSO HAVE A PLEDGE TO PLUNGE SHEET AT TONIGHT’S GMG HOLIDAY BBQ AT CAPE ANN GICLEE.

DIRECTIONS-

Rocky Neck Plunge Info from Brenda Malloy-

Thought it may be a good idea to give people some directions on exactly where the beach is that The Rocky Neck Plunge takes place. It is called Oak Cove Beach at the end of Stevens Way, neither of which names are commonly known to most, even on Rocky Neck!
When one is driving down Rocky Neck and bears right at Sailor Stan’s restaurant, you take the first street on the  left ‘Stevens Way’. This is a short street, 2 houses long, then you must go either right or left on Wonson St.  If you were to continue straight you go down the gravel path ahead of you, this leads to Oak Cove Beach where the plunge takes place.
Hope to see a big crowd, one and all are welcome!
PEACE!

Sam Nigro Oar for Tonno Gloucester Men’s Room to Replace Stolen Print

Eric Schwartz submits-

12/27/2018 – A few weeks ago the super talented Gloucester, MA artist Sam Nigro asked me if I happened to have a digital picture I could text him of the print Chef Anthony Caturano, of Tonno Gloucester, had stolen out of the men’s room in 10/2018. Oddly enough I did as Cm Schwartz couldn’t go into the men’s room so I took a pic to show her. Sam’s canvas normally is an antique oar. Sam texted me as he was about half way through painting the work you see in this post & he asked me if I would present it to Anthony. I said, “Sure, I’ll go with you.” Sam said, “Thanks, but I prefer you present it to him without me. That’s what I would like.” So, I didn’t argue and fulfilled Sam’s wish yesterday. Last night was the big night as Anthony was at Tonno Gloucester. I was honored Sam asked me to do his dirty work & hopefully all men reading this post that frequent Tonno Gloucester will see the finished work on the men’s room wall soon … (Learn more about Sam & view his work at www.glostoar.com) | #GloucesterMA #Art #Artist #Painting #Oar #Glostoar #Gift #BluefinTuna
