Here is an example from a screen capture on my phone of what to look for. You will only see the poll ONCE all the photos are loaded. Once ALL the doggo photos are loaded, then the poll pops up. If you click on the photos without letting it all load you’ll probably have issues and not see the poll. This is due to the huge number of entries. I think it’s 159 dog photos need to load before the poll will pop up and that’s a lot of computing power.

Preface: due to the overwhelming response of entries the contest will take a while to load. I will tell you this- IT’S WORTH IT! I suggest you click on the link to this post and let it all load before you start clicking any buttons. The amount of cuteness overload will no doubt put a smile on your face. I suggest you grab a notepad and view the photos in the gallery at your leisure. I just spent 9.5 hours editing all the photos and creating the poll. A bit frazzled but guess what? It’s National Puppy Day, no better way to start our play in voting. Thanks again to Ray Cahill and Seaport Veterinary Hospital who answered the call in a big way and donated the prizes for when we have the tournament from the entrants you the voters select in this pre play-in tournament.

The top 64 vote getters will advance to the tournament. In the event of ties at the bottom of the 64 dogs will be selected by time of entry. It is labeled cutest dog but really it’s about which dog speaks to you personally. The dogs that finish in the top 64 will advance. This is just to get into the tournament. Vote below. share with friends and family that would like to see your dog in the tournament. If you are viewing this in the GMG email blast click the title of this post to go to the voting. Voting ends for the vote-into the tournament period the 25th at 5AM. I will then set up the brackets with the top vote getters and figure out the ties by time of submission to me. my head is spinning. What I will say is that there are some handsome dogs in this contest and that’s coming from a guy that isn’t even a dog person. I can’t wait to get this editing done so we can start the vote- in process.

When Benda Leahy presented the award she remarked that she wished she could give it to Pat AND Jimmy based on all the great things they both do for the organization. That doesn’t surge one bit.
