🍅Backyard Garden Program- Backyard Growers builds raised garden beds in low- to moderate-income households’ backyards every spring. Apply for a garden bed built for easy access at your own home.

🥗 GrowBag Garden Program – The GrowBag Garden Program offers modular container gardening. Great for Cape Ann residents who are renters or who don’t have access to traditional outdoor growing space. Apply for a container garden and full veggie-growing resources.

Backyard Growers program participants receive access to growing space, veggie seeds and seedlings started by our friends at Cedar Rock Gardens, admission to gardening and cooking workshops, and an optional garden mentor.

MISSING PERSON Rockport Police Department Seeking Public’s Help Locating Missing 15-Year-Old Girl

MARLEY CASTILLO, age 15, was last seen on Monday, March 13, at 10:10 p.m., leaving a home on Doctor’s Run in Rockport. Please note her hair is now curly. (Photo Courtesy Rockport Police Department)ROCKPORT — Chief John Horvath and the Rockport Police Department are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing 15-year-old girl. 

MARLEY CASTILLO, 15, was last seen on Monday, March 13, leaving a home on Doctor’s Run at approximately 10:10 p.m.

She is described as 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighing approximately 130 pounds, with reddish/brown curly hair. She has a small scar on her forehead above the bridge of her nose.

She was last seen wearing a light-colored hooded sweatshirt, slipper-style footwear, and pajama style pants. She was also seen carrying red colored Nikesneakers. 

Marley is said to frequent Gloucester, Hamilton, Salem, and Lynn.  

Rockport Police are asking residents in the Doctor’s Run area and surrounding towns to review any home security camera footage they may have.

Anyone who believes they have footage of Marley, or other information about her whereabouts, is asked to call the Rockport Police Department at 978-546-1212.

Seaside Garden Club’s April Meeting is jointly sponsored by the Manchester Garden Club.

On Tuesday, April 4, Seaside Garden Club welcomes Jana Milbocker with a program on the Artists’ Gardens in New England.

Some of our most beloved painters, sculptors and authors were inspired by the gardens they created.
