I am a live music advocate and seek to share the news of bands playing at local venues in my home town. Being drawn to blues mostly but embrace all kinds of music. One does not have to go over the bridge to hear some real fine tunes, however there are some bands that draw you elsewhere. I hope this blog is a good use to you as it is to me.
Enjoy,

What Time Is It, Mr. Fox Closes the last night of The Harbor Loop Summer Concert Series 2016, last Thursday. 8.25.2016
Delightful summer night of live music on the hill. Children frolicking, summer breeze and dancers here and there. There were many originals and some cover songs. Renee and Joe ( who, also have their own duo/band) shared a couple of their songs and then Nadia Robertson singer/songwriter (who has performed on stage with What Time Is It, Mr. Fox? in the past, along with Rockport High School Madrigal Choir) joined in.
A very special thank you to Carol Pallazolla and Christopher Silva for running the show and doing an awesome job with it! Here’s to many more.

Dave says,
Mr Tim Gartland returns! Presently living in Nashville where he is the top-rated John Deere® Salesman,he not only plays a mean harmonica and sings like an angel, but he has just returned from Rio, where his synchronized spitting team brought home the Gold for the good ol’ USA.

He’s dragging in a crack team to black him up, featuring Mr. Tom West, dishpan handed keyboardist for the (Eupho) Mystics, Pete Henderson,on catarrh, who ,like me is still in recovery from last week’s Sax Gordon show, and Forrest “Tucker” Padgett to make butter on the skins. A great time!

John Raymond & Geoff small on guitar, Will Kidder on bass, Bob metzger on pedal steel, Steve Jerome on drums dickey Harper on harmonica 0. Have to get the violin players name.
Great night with threatening clouds. The band played until8is because those clouds gave way to rain. There were so many familiar songs with some originals here and there. This band was real sweet and and so smooth. I think it’s safe to say the crowd loved them… I know I did.

Dave says,
The Musical Surplus Club of Hong Kong is proud to present the return of the one and only Mr. Dennis Brennan to the Rhumb Line stage this Thursday. Girls, start your weeping glands. Been a while since Big D has graced our stage and I can’t wait to join in. Everytime he comes here the smelling salts flow like wine! For my dough, the greatest singer around.

and he’s bringing along the hardware to match, in the form of Mr. Steve Sadler on catarrh and Mr. Chris Rivelli, the baddest drummmbler from Broomful ‘o Blues fame and misfortune. Don’t miss it!
