Friday nite June 22 I’ll be opening up the Summer season at a new venue in town. The Castle Manor Inn on Essex Ave. is opening under new management and I’ll be there with an all-star lineup (with Jon Ross, fabulous guitarist and vocalist, John Cameron, once again on keys, and Jeff Casper, the friendly drummer, sitting on his own stool) to crank out some serious dancing music  Let’s keep it alive! Hours are 7 to 10, so you have no excuse not to show up! Come cheer us and them on! We need this!

Hello to my family, friends and various other business contacts,I’m writing to you all today in hopes I can convince you to participate in this very, very worthwhile fundraiser. Deb worked very hard to acquire some awesome prizes. We know people will be pleasantly surprised.As you know this is a fundraiser for Alzheimer’s Disease and we are asking you to please help us by purchasing a ticket and to perhaps persuade your family and friends to attend also. Deb and I would really like to make this a huge success and sell out this event. It’s actually a great deal for what we promise will be a great time for everyone! For $20.00 per ticket you will be entertained by the classic rock band Full Circle. That’s 2 hours and 50 Minutes of awesome music for your dancing pleasure and also included in the ticket price is a Hot & Cold Buffet, not to mention the beautiful 3 hour boat trip on one of Gloucesters most popular Whale Watch Boats, The Privateer IV. That’s more than worth the ticket price right there, but what’s more is there will be a cash bar, 50/50 cash raffle & also prize raffles with what we promise will be some fantastic prizes…There’s one in particular that I would really love to have, but as one of the organizers, I can’t be involved in the raffle’s :`(. Like I said, there are many prizes going up for raffle and you could end up doing well for yourself all while helping this most important cause.

Deb and I are hoping to sell all the tickets in advance so we can take care of expenses and have an idea of what we will be starting with before the raffles begin. Please, we cannot hold ticket for anyone as this can run into myriad problems, but if you want tickets, either Deb or myself will deliver them to you if you need us to. Right next to The Gloucester House Restaurant on Rogers St., Gloucester, Ma.
Tickets are $20.00 each, which includes Hot/Cold Buffet & entertainment by Full Circle
There will also be a cash bar, 50/50 raffle and prize raffle’s.

The Privateer IV departs promptly at 7:00 p.m. and returns at 10:00 p.m.

It’s another harrowing experience this week as we aim that elephant gun and bring you down with the magnificent combination of Mr. Dave Brown and Dave Mattacks. Yes, yes, the Geezerz® are back in town and ready to mulch your mind with the grooviest of toons. With the systolic sliiideman and the atomic clock on board, it’s a new record every day. With the available Greg Tower option ,it’s pedal to the metal time. See your dealer for details. No salesman will visit your home. Wear safety glasses!
And remember, next Monday, The good old Salty Jazz Band hits it again at the Rose baker Senior Center downtown from 1 to 3 p.m. It’s free and diapers are available at the door! These cats swing! Even if you don’t come, you’ll be there sooner than you know!

Dave says,

We had so much fun last week with Ed Scheer on board that i’ve decided to have him back this week to play along side his old teammate Mr. Mario Perrett. Cutie-pie saxist, former Playgirl© pinup, teen idol and magnificent vocalizer, Mr. MP has what it takes to raise any bar. For years he was the sexaphonist in the Love Dogs as well as in Madhouse. It’s always a pleasure to have both these guys around. They play, they sing, they wear my shirts and steal most of my songs, too. Anybody seen my wallet?
We always manage to pull out all the stops as well as your leg and your finger. With gootar-king and milliner Mr. Greg t. and myself aboard, we’re hoping to have a rousing good time. So bring your dancing shoe and your stump and hobble waddle doodle all night long!
N.B. If you have any friends or enemies who might like these minor missives, just send their addresses along to me. Always looking to spread the joys of music!

I gotta keep it short and sweet this week cuz the vodka tanker truck is due any minute, so here goes:
Back for a rondezvous with destiny is that fabulous femme fatale: Ms. Cheryl Arena. Yep, she’s back up here in the northwoods once again, and ready to chase you back to whatever evil world you come from. Throw vocals, harmonica, and charisma in a 55 gallon drum of water, add an outboard motor, and there she is!
And furthermore, the band is really cool. We all have mental goatees. First off is John Cameron Swazee, who takes a lickin’ and keeps on tickin’, on piano and mood organ. Way kool. Then there’s Mr. Ed, Scheer, that is , on drumulators and random gargling. And the dystopic duo of Gregg Tee and Dave Sag on gritarrh and bass. Oops, I must dash: truck is here.
