The other day, in the screened in porch, heard a flapping noise. This cutie was stuck looking out look of the screens. We opened all the doors and talked the little bird into flying outside. Felt bad when the bird was panicking.

Rockport, MA — Windhover Center for the Performing Arts invites community members to its historic storybook campus for a summer celebration including dinner and music and dance performance.

The evening includes hors d’oeuvres and three-course meal prepared by Cape Ann chef Melissa Donati (Vidalia’s Market, Beverly Farms), a selection of wines thoughtfully curated and shared by local sommeliers Scott Lefler (Porto Vino Wine Imports) and Paige Farrell, and performances by beloved multi-instrumentalist and jazz musician Stan Strickland and modern dance artist Amanda Stevenson (Paul Taylor 2 Dance Company, NYC).

Boats in Our Harbor

As we sailed toward Boston recently aboard Hurricane II with Cape Ann Whale Watch, I took note of the variety of vessels out in our harbor that beautiful afternoon. They included Angela & Rose; Kenneth J Duncan; Aloha and Artemis. Each beautiful in its own way.
