Announcing the return of the Gloucester Student Arts Festival!

Showcasing + Creating Art as a Gloucester Community

After a three-year hiatus, the Gloucester Education Foundation and Gloucester Public Schools are thrilled to relaunch the Gloucester Student Arts Festival, a daylong celebration of the arts in the Gloucester Public Schools!

The festival will take place on Saturday, May 13 from noon-5pm in downtown Gloucester, with indoor programming at City Hall, the Cape Ann Museum, and MAGMA, and an outdoor block party on Warren Street with performances, live music, art-making and dance workshops, and food trucks. Visual and performing arts from grades Pre-K-12 will be showcased, with the goal of every student in Gloucester represented in at least one way.

This all-ages event will be a destination for families, community members, artists and visitors. Join us for a day of joyful creativity and art!

Food Trucks include: Butter Ur Biscuit, Holy Cow Ice Cream Cafe, Five Star Phresh Phoods, Castaways Cafe, Rhea Pizzeria Napoletana, and more!

Art-Making activities include: print-making, cyanotypes, kite-making, Gloucester 400+ poetry project, Dance through the Decades with MAGMA, and more!

Performances include: the Grades 4+5, O’Maley and GHS bands; O’Maley and GHS theater; 3rd grade recorder recital; Gloucester PreK Flash Mob; spoken word, poetry and more!

The Gloucester Student Arts Festival is a collaboration between GEF, GPS, Cape Ann Museum, MAGMA, and the City of Gloucester, with generous support from Institution for Savings, BankGloucester, and Gloucester 400+.
