Wow, talk about your memories! The welcome center was known ( in the 50’s) as the rest house. On the ground level was a first aid station & rest rooms. On the main level was a big empty room, except for rocking chairs , I guess for resting. Up front , facing east, was a snack bar run by Mr Bradstreet, you know beach food, hot dogs burgers & ice cream. Spent a lot of time there back when. The place looks great now. Thanks for the journey down memoy lane
