John Stephen Caggiano, a long time Cape Ann artist, will demonstrate his skills painting with brushes and palette knives. His oil palette, which has evolved over many years, is large and varied. It contains many colors, most of which are utilized in every painting. He will most likely paint from photos unless it is feasible to move outside on the grounds of the North Shore Arts Association, in which case he will choose a subject from the surrounding area. Questions from the audience will be welcomed. If time permits, he will be happy to critique a painting that you bring with you as long as you are willing to share it with all in attendance.
