Two years ago a boat wreck was discovered off Coffins Beach. See the story here.

Today, Shanti and Raj re-discovered the remains at low tide.

  2. I’m glad to see it is still visible and am are encouraged to see these young explorers are continuing our work. The wreck seems to have begun re-emerging from the sands about the beginning of August. We were back recording it 2 weeks ago. If anyone notices it uncovering more, please let me know. I have a graduate student who is utilizing this shipwreck site for his masters. The more we can see and record, the better chance of actually getting at the vessel’s true identity.
