Natures Blessings

The sun rises in the East
To grace us with God’s light.
Reaping of harvest is a feast
From the showering of the sun so bright.
Setting in the West at the close of the day,
Casting shadows in each path,
On our knees we stop to pray
To the spirit of God to grasp
Listening to the wind of the North,
As darkness casts its gloom,
The sound of nature as it takes it course
At the beauty of its flowers in full bloom
In our Gloucester we have riches beyond compare
Such as natures oceans rivers and streams
Most of all we have its proud heritage
From the love of others hopes and dreams
