Not good. I tried to go in to do paperwork and help out with light duty but it was a total fail.
Never had this kind of lose your breath pain.

So glad someone took the leadership in the new internet digital media age here. After leaving my hometown of Gloucester where i was born and raised, and coming back after over twenty years…it’s reassuring to see someone taking the helm in presenting to the rest of the world beyond the bridge, the beauty, spirit and hopefully the essence of CapeAnn. Fiesta always reminds me of how wonderrful this harbor and island is.,,and her people…..from natives to newbies….and i’ve met lots of newbies, many come here and never leave…they discover our wonderful place….they have a meaning here too….it’s evolving quicker than some of us would like, but fishing is dying, and we must survive and keep our heritage and pride and memories…they are what built this town…the countless, nameless fishermen who lived and died here. the character that made men, made this town what it is,.and the women and famililes who sacrificed …this is what is dying too in our culture…keep telling the fish stories, keep telling the tales of men in the sea,,,keep telling our youth the struggles…for it is lost forever if we don’t….thanks joey for ur dedication , drive and insight to this cause…..thanku Jim Casey
