When did razorblades get so goddamn expensive?

mach3

$26 for 12 razorblades?

Anyone use an electric razor?  I tried one when I was a teen and hardly had any hair to shave off my face but the concept just seemed a little dirty to me.  You know when you go to BJ’s and you casually toss a few small items in your cart and then get up to the front and they ask you for $325?  It’s these tiny items like razorblades that add up quick.

Holy shit I’m getting old.  I sound just like my father did when I’d roll my eyes at him when he complained about how much stuff cost.

(thank you to all my twitter friends who helped out with the proper spelling for goddamn)

  1. I buy a bag of good quality disposable razors for about $8 and carefully rinse and dry after every use. I am still using the same razor for 3 months, I only shave every other day though.

  2. I’m going to have some people somewhere laughing over this. Joey, yes I have my female razors, like Venus, and so forth. Let me tell ya. I tried Mach 3, it was o.k. Then I wanted more than 3 blades so I went to Schick Hydro 5. Yes, expensive, but I’ll tell you I will never go back to my female razors again. I never get nicked, not even on the ankles or knees. To me it’s a fantastic razor and you don’t have to use the shave gel they sell in the same name….LOL… HA HA O.K. People that’s your lesson on shavers. Listen, just because my heart lies in the fishing & lobstering industry doesn’r mean I’m a guy. Oh wait, now I use men’s razors…LOL… Oh Oh. Truthfully Joey, Hydro 5 is a great razor to me.
