The Schooner Adventure, a historic schooner that is the last of the “Gloucesterman,” or the great Gloucester Grand Banks fishing schooners, is calling on its supporters and friends to vote for it as it competes for funding dollars from the Partnership in Preservation. American Express and the National Trust for Historic Preservation named the Gloucester Adventure one of 25 historic sites in Massachusetts that are eligible for part of $1 million in preservation grants.
