I just noticed that with just under 2300 hits from now GoodMorningGloucester will have reached 300,000 hits. That’s not to shabby for a little blog that was started right around New Years Day last year.
Considering the first couple months it only generated about 20-50 hits a day, GMG has grown steadily and we haven’t looked back since.
Thanks to everyone who has subscribed, bookmarked, made this community a more positive place to be and laughed with us along the way.
Without your comments and support the energy to continue would surely have waned. Thank you, thank you thank you, for sharing your mornings, days and evenings with me.

good work joey, your the man !!! hopefully come spring their are more things on the lobstermen . the things that made me come to your site every day after i moved from gloucester to az. were your pictures of the lobstermen and boats and ofcorse my wife loves the pictures and silly stuff your daughters do . your a good man and a great father joe and you can be proud of yourself. it’s sad but not many men can sit down at the end of the day and say they are honest, stand by their word, and are a good father but you can joe ! their are not many people i can say i am (proud ) to be their friend but you are one of them . good luck in everything you do in life joe i am sure you’ll be fine because good things happen to good people. your bud , shawn cromwell

Not to shabby at all Joey. I know that I can’t wait to get home from work every day to open up GMG. I live alone so it actually gives me something to look forward to. And you do such a great job. I love the coments next to the gulls. But I have to admit, that like Shawn, I really love the lobster stuff and all the boats. But even your girls. I sit here and quite often laugh when I watch them because they’re so cute and lovable. So I say Thank You and Stay Safe. Elaine Marie
