ESSEX SHIPBUILDING MUSEUM presents Vincent Cacialano – PLEX – Choreography and Live Art Performance on July 9, at 7pm. $10 suggested donation. UK-based dance artist Vincent Cacialano and Gloucester dance artist Sarah Slifer pair up to perform Cacialano’s PLEX, a multi media performance event. Lights of Love is an annual tribute to Cape Ann families and friends whose lives have been touched by cancer. Launched in 2008 by Gloucester residents Sue Kyle and Shawn Wilson in gratitude for exceptional patient care delivered at the GORTON’S SPECIALTY AND CANCER CARE CENTER AT ADDISON GILBERT HOSPITAL, the 2009 Lights of Love seeks to raise $25,000. The culminating event will take place on December 1st with a tree lighting featuring carols, holiday treats, and inspirational remarks at the hospitals Washington Street entrance. 978-853-4738
