Oscar – Pet of the Week At Cape Ann Animal Aid

Here’s the second installment of GMG Pet of The Week-

Good Morning Gloucester!  I am all ready for rainy weather or whatever comes
my way.   My name is Oscar and I am Dachshund.   I love toys and you will
never see me without one in my mouth or near by.
I am a little guy who likes the outdoors.  I like to hike in the woods, walk and don’t let these
short legs fool you – I can keep up with you.   I like my naps, too.   I love to curl up in the
afternoon on a nice soft blanket.   I enjoy riding in the car and just being with people.
I get along with most dogs as long as these don’t take my toys.  I have a little
confession – I like cats but I just love to chase them!  I am being fostered because at
the shelter I was feeling too stressed out and always awake checking to see if anyone
was going to take my toys.  One dog – he looked like half-a-pony – I thought for sure
if I fell asleep he was going to take my toys.   Because of my "intense" style, I am
looking for an adult home.  If you think you could be person(s), please give the shelter
a call so we might chat a little more!   The Cape Ann Animal Aid is located at
260 Main Street in Gloucester and may be reached at (978) 283-6055

Mousey

Meet Mousey-

Mousey – Pet of the Week – June is Adopt-a-Cat Month!
I am Mousey and my siblings and I are at the Cape Ann Animal Aid in Gloucester.
We are playful, affectionate and ready to find loving homes.   We are short-
haired smokey-grey creatures who are ten-weeks-old.
During June, all young adult cats 1-2 years will have their adoption
fees cut-in-half and all cats over 2 years old, will have
no mandatory adoption fee; just a donation in appreciation. All cat adopters
will be entered in a fun feline raffle to be drawn on July 1.
There are several older cats and many who are between 1-2 years old.
Remember to mark your calendar for the Sunset Cruise on Saturday, July 24 – more details
later!  More important things right now; like finding me a loving home!!!
