âSounds of Viennaâ in Annnisquam

The Essex Piano Trio brings âThe Sounds of Vienna -Then and Nowâ to the Annisquam Village Church on Saturday, June 17, at 7:30 PM. Violinist Ashley Offret, Cellist David Cabral, and pianist Beverly Soll play works of Schubert, Mozart, Pärt, Bolcom, Beethoven, and Haydn.
In its signature ‘Conversation among Friends’ manner, the Trio’s survey of Viennese repertoire resembles a musical feast, with Schubertâs Piano Trio in B flat major as the âmain course.â Other delights emanating from the Austrian âcity of dreamsâ complete the musical menu.
The historic, 1830âs Village Church is an ideal venue for chamber music, with its intimate proportions, its wonderful acoustics, and its beautiful Steinway. Located at 820 Washington Street, Gloucester, MA.Parking allowed along Washington and Leonard Streets.  Suggested donation is $25. The church is handicap accessible, and a reception of Viennese delights will follow the performance in the downstairs Cove Room.
