May 23rd at 6pm Cape Ann Olive Oil Company will be hosting Mamie’s Kitchen for their cooking seminar!
Mamie’s Kitchen will be using the authentic olive oils and balsamic vinegars from Cape Ann Olive Oil Company!
Come in for marinara sauce and meatballs, salad, focaccia and tiramisu!

Just In- Alicia Cox from Mamie’s Kitchen just informed me that she will be supplying the peeps that come down the dock with a sheetpan full of the WORLD’S GREATEST COFFEE ROLLS!
Boom! That just happened. I suggest if you plan on coming down and volunteering with us that you get here right at 8 or Ed Collard is liable to pound down half the sheetpan and you might go without

Hi Joey!
Glad to hear it was a success down on the dock! I don’t have as many photos of different locations as I would like to have had. I checked in at Stage Fort Park – and there was a group hard at work spreading mulch, not sure but i think it was the Rotary Club – I’ll double check that for you. Then I got a call from Laurel Tarantino asking if anyone was looking for a spot to clean – she was at the lower end of Essex Avenue – the marsh stretch to Dunkin Donuts… so I decided to head down there to give her a had for a bit before I bounced around to check in with everyone, I ended up staying there all morning and never went anywhere else! While we were cleaning – A Hiltz truck stopped and took about 8 bags for us – we ended up picking up about 20 bags just from that little stretch!!!!

While at Mamie’s Kitchen yesterday for breakfast we were stopped by fans of GMG who had travelled up from Connecticut to go to Mamie’s Kitchen based on my recommendation. I was heading for the can and these three lovely ladies stopped me and asked ‘Are you Joey?” After replying yes, they told me how they loved the blog and were at mamie’s because of me. Sweet! I lost the piece of paper with their names on it 
You know how I love to spread the love to people who support our fun events so here’s a couple pictures from Mamie’s Kitchen killer breakfast joint across from St Ann’s Church and behind where Savour Wine and Cheese and Beach Gourmet Catering will be.

I always have to start out any breakfast joint post by stating that Gloucester MA is by far and away the all time greatest place for a wide variety of outstanding places to eat breakfast. there is no where on earth that has the amount of incredible options we have.
So to make it in this town with the intense competition you have to do something unique, and you have to bring the thunder.
I will tell you that Alicia, the owner of Mamie’s Kitchen does indeed bring the Thunder!
