Crazy clouds this week

With the weather so crazy this week, it was so interesting to watch the weather.  This cloud reminded me of Independence Day.

Smoky sun over Magnolia Pier and Magnolia Landing

On Wednesday around 4:45 took this photo at Magnolia Pier.  You can see the smoky sky from the fires out west.

After a rainy day the sun was trying to come out

Thursday was rainy and windy but as the sun was setting you could see the sun making an appearance.

Sunset reflection on the hood of my truck

Since it was a little chilly outside, took this photo from the open window. The reflection on the silver truck was very pretty.

Amazing surprising sunset on Tuesday

My winter obsession, sunsets.  Even though it was cloudy, rainy and snow showers on Tuesday, about 4:30 looked out the window from the gym and the sky looked like was on fire.  AMAZING…

Magnolia Landing

Please share to help spread the word.
These signs are going up today in Magnolia at the public landing. The amount of Kayaks and Skiffs left at the landing has got out of hand. 2 weeks ago residents and GFD members were wadding in the water fishing out kayaks and skiffs that were heading out to sea. When these boats are found unmanned and adrift it is automatically assumed that someone is in distress sparking a search and rescue mission for the USCG and local harbormasters. Starting spring of 2020 the Gloucester Harbormasters office will have modified kayak rack storage a Magnolia landing. If you are interested please go to the City of Gloucester’s website Departments>Harbormaster>Wait List> Apply> Magnolia Kayak Rack and follow the prompts. For more information please contact the Harbormaster Office.

Tuesday evening’s sunset

Before the Super Moon showed it beauty, the sunset on Shore Road was pretty.  The sand on the beach looked like it was glowing.

Kayaks in the rain

Went to Magnolia Landing in the rain yesterday and took this photo from inside my truck.  The kayaks looked interesting.
