It’s Guitarzan week this Thursday as two of the finest guitarists on my list come together for a great night of wailing and gnashing of teeth. Firstly, there’s the commodious Steve Sadler who really belts it out.

This Thursday I’m really psyched to bring you something new and scrofulous: The Tenor Titan, Mr. Scotty Shetler. We played here in the “old” days and he just slipped through my cracks. Ah, all these years…. You gotta hear this guy play! He just oozes Omphalos! Sings, too. A great front man!
Not only that, but Mr. Pete Henderson,lonely in these parts, is making a rare appearance on catarrh and vocals. Another awesome boost to our flame-throwing lineup.Top it all off with the Atomic Clock, Mr. David Mattacks with me cringing in the background and you’ll be crying “Uncle!”. This could be one of the best shows all summer!

A Book Party in Rockport!
Please stop by this Sunday, July 19th and join Mary Faino at her shop in Rockport, The Paper Mermaid, along with me (aka S.D. Kelly) for a party in celebration of our new release: A Day in Rockport.
Mary created beautiful illustrations of iconic places throughout Rockport, and I wrote the text to go along with her work. It was a fun collaboration and we enjoyed the entire process, from choosing the places that would make it into the book — ranging from Millbrook Meadow to Bearskin Neck to the Headlands — to the more technical aspects of book design.
We’ll have locally-made treats at the party, a Scavenger Hunt, and a raffle to win a framed print of one of the illustrations in the book. Celebrate Rockport with us and stop by!

Our post-dramatic Forth of July Edema Series continues this Thursday with the crash-landing of Mr. Gordon “Sax” Beadle on our shores.If I gotta tell you who he is, you’ve been in an ocarina-induced coma. So, wake up! An icon for Yahooism, he’ll be arriving with his eye sockets red glare and his sax bombs bursting in air. The joint will be jumpin’! Who needs fireworks!
Not only that, but he’ll be bringing along that bubbling two-fisted master of Qatar, Mr. Mike DiBari. A great match. Also, former RFB drummmbler, Mr. Ephraim Lowell will be propelling his arms in a desperate attempt to make sense of the whole thing. I’ll be there, too, in a few pieces, but serviceable. You don’t want to miss this! Showtime 8:30.
