Petty Morals will be making their Gloucester debut at Katrina’s on Saturday July 9th
Petty Morals is an all-girl synth-rock outfit based out of Salem, MA. They enjoy heavy eyeliner, the finest boxed wines, and being all dressed up with nowhere to go. They won 2nd place in the 2014 Rock N Roll Rumble, were nominated for best new act and best rock act in the 2014 Boston Music Awards, and WON the award for ‘video of the year’ (shot partially here on Cape Ann) in the 2015 Boston Music Awards! Their influences include: The Cars, The Sounds, The Epoxies, Prince, Electric Six, Metric, Blondie, Garbage, Go-Go’s, Le Tigre, The Rolling Stones, Berlin, Heart and more.

The bases are loaded this Thursday as I Welcome Ms. Toni Lynn Washington to the Rhumb Line stage. A veritable living legend in the Boston area, Ms. T is sure to have your Adam’s apple bobbing with delight. I know she’ll hit it out of the park, too, with such luminaries as Mr. Mike DiBari, the mentalist of the blues, on catarrh, and Mr. Steve Bankuti,the drummer whose line is always busy!
It’s her first time here in town, so come early and stay late! You’ll be quizzed on this next week!

Yes, yes, Mr. Gordon “Sax” Beadle is back in town this Thursday, comin’ at you with his atom smashing style and vaporizing sorties. it’s always a big deal to play with this guy…always takes a couple of days to recover…like a couch. Just back from a tour of Atlantis, our pied piper is dragging in the same vibrating rhythm section as last week.

Well,I’ve signed up for elective surgery on my flabby elbow skin (hetero-weenisectomy) this Thursday and will be be busy recuperating with a Martini or three, so , in the meantime, why not stop holding your breath and inhale a little bit of Ms. Lisa Marie who will be charging in on her caparisoned horse, lance aboiling ,to skewer you with another night of electro-convulsive blues, and other music. And she’s bringing along the right people. She’s got Johnny Juxo to bang his shoe on the keyboard, “Silverfish” Steve on scratchy catarrh, and Dana “Bonefish” Bonardi on the bangulators. Sounds like a plan. Me, I’ll be showing up late in my black suit, in case you wanna see what I look like when I buy the farm! (minus the formaldehyde).
