Never Forget

On that horrible day 24 years ago, a friend of my children and neighbor was supposed to be on Flight 11.   Due to her boss deciding to save some money she was not on Flight 11.  Her parents did not know that she had changed her flight.  When we finally we found out she was not on the flight, actually she was on the runway, a change happened.  Have learned if something does not go your way, just let it go.  Grateful but the pain of that day will never go away.

Sitting on the float

While walking to Magnolia Pier on Saturday, before the rain, Rick and I went down the ramp to the float.  The tide was going out and the pier looked interesting from the float.  From this angle you see the engineering aspect.

Late summer

It seems impossible that the summer of 2025 is coming to an end.  It was glorious and most grateful.

A break in the clouds

Magnolia Pier is one of my favorite places to walk.  The flags are waving, and the weather was starting to break.

Breezy Stacy Boulevard

Walking the Boulevard on Tuesday, the flags were waving while people were enjoying the view.

Magnolia Pier from the newly installed float

Now that the ramp is in and the float, walking to float shows different perspectives.

Flags, ramp, float on Magnolia Pier

So nice to see the ramp down and float attached to Magnolia Pier.  Summer is here.

Flags and clouds on Stacy Boulevard

Walking Stacy Boulevard late afternoon on Wednesday the flags were waving.  Thank you, Ringo, for your hard work.

Flags on Magnolia Pier

I love the Magnolia Pier with the flags and flowers in the front.  It never disappoints.
