This Week at The Cut!

Friday is for the Emo/Punk kids who had Blink 182 and Yellowcard CDs in their sun visor CD case back in the 90s and early 00s! The Warped Tour Band will be playing all your favorites with openers, All The Blink Things and Dookie. There are still some GA standing tickets available. Doors are at 7pm. Show is at 8pm.

We’ll also have Headlands Trio playing live in the restaurant from 7pm – 10pm. No cover!

Saturday it’s time to get FUNKY with Booty Vortex! This band really knows how to throw a party that you absolutely don’t want to miss! There are still some GA Standing (aka DANCING) tickets available. Doors at 7:30pm. Show at 8:30pm.

We’ll also have DJ Skully in the restaurant keeping the party going from 9pm – close. No cover!

Sunday the legendary Chicago Bluesman, Toronzo Cannon, will be up on The Cut stage! There are still some tickets for what is sure to be an incredible and intimate show. Doors at 6pm. Show at 7pm.

We’ll also have ALL the football on our 9 TVs, so make sure you stop by to watch the games and enter to win a VIP Experience at our Super Bowl Party!

As always, Little Sister will be serving their Best of The North Shore award-winning burgers (and so much more) starting at 5pm each night and now starting at noon on Saturdays and Sundays. Come early and grab food before the show or stay late and refuel after dancing!

Thursday it’s our monthly FREE show: Third Thursday (music) Therapy with Groove Therapy! If you haven’t been to The Cut for a show yet, this is the perfect opportunity. Come check out the unbelievable sound, killer sightlines and huge dance floor! 21+. Doors at 6pm, show at 7pm. There will be some first come, first serve seats available.

Friday Dueling Pianos are BACK! This is a full audience participation show, complete with sing-alongs and friendly competition! Tickets are still available. Doors at 7pm. Show at 8pm.
We’ll also have Brian Dwyer Trio playing live in the restaurant from 7pm-10pm. No Cover.

Saturday we are thrilled to have Gavin Marengi with Nate Perry & Ragged Company up on The Cut stage. Tickets are going fast, but there are still some available! Doors at 7pm. Show at 8pm.
Then we’ll have a live DJ in the restaurant from 9pm-close. Follow us on social media for pop-up DJ updates!

Schooner Fest Weekend at The Cut

A Portion of ALL ticket sales for this week/weekend’s shows will go to support Maritime Gloucester and The Gloucester Schooner Festival.


Wednesday is our Gloucester Schooner Festival kick-off party with Lisa Love Experience! Doors are at 7pm, show is at 7:30pm. Tickets are still available but going fast!
Plus, we’ve got Trivia in the restaurant! Free to play. Prizes include show tickets and Little Sister gift cards!

Thursday Closet Case is BACK! This time the theme is LABOR! starring Joslyn Fox from RuPaul’s Drag Race! This show is part drag, part burlesque, part musical numbers, and so much MORE. Tickets are still available. Doors are at 8pm. Show is at 8:30pm. Meet & Greet with Joslyn Fox is also available!

Friday is the final Gloucester Block Party on Main Street, so definitely stop by! In addition, we’ve partnered with Cape Ann Guitar Society for an incredible show with Fabiola Mendez. You may have seen her on Tiny Desk with Bad Bunny! Doors are at 7pm. Show is at 8pm. Tickets are still available!
We’ll also have live music from Peter Tentindo in the restaurant starting at 8pm. No Cover.

Saturday We have Back to the 80s playing all your favorite hits from your favorite decade in the Venue starting 8pm (doors at 7pm). Come dance the night away with us! Tickets are still available!

Sunday Duane Betts & Palmetto Motel return to The Cut with local faves Wood & Bone. This evening of southern rock is not to be missed! Tickets are still available. Doors at 7pm. Show at 8pm.

Another fun week at The Cut!!

Wednesday:
TRIVIA! – Come test your smarts with our new bar trivia series. Game starts at 7:30pm. It’s free to play, but we do suggest you make a reservation to secure a table. Trivia will be held EVERY Wednesday night in the restaurant.
Thursday:
Latin Night with Matt Jenson in the restaurant. Music from 8pm – 10:30pm. No cover.
Friday:
Captain Jack & The Strangers – NIGHT ONE. Doors at 7pm, show at 8pm. Join us for a night of non-stop Billy Joel! There are still tickets available for this show!
Saturday:
Captain Jack & The Strangers – NIGHT TWO. Doors at 7pm, show at 8pm. Join us for ANOTHER night of non-stop Billy Joel! There are still tickets available for this show!

Another STACKED week at The Cut!!

Wednesday: The Cutup – Comedy Open Mic Night – 7pm – $5 at the door. No Presale. Come try your hand on stage, or just come to laugh!
AND
Palate to Palette – Watch a painting come to life before your eyes while you sip a drink and enjoy a lovely dinner. This is a free event, but we suggest making a reservation to secure a table. Event starts at 5pm.
AND

Participate in Leap of Kindness Day – February 29

As part of a 2024 nationwide promotion, the Greater Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce has joined the ranks of over 200 communities representing Chambers in 43 of 50 states to use the “extra” day of Leap Year to do something kind for someone else.

Originally conceived by the Saratoga Chamber of Commerce, the first Leap of Kindness Day saw hundreds of local organizations helping thousands of local people on February 29, 2016. Four years later in 2020, Leap of Kindness Day was even bigger and better as chambers throughout the US, Canada, and Ireland joined in for the spread of a lot of kindness.

For our part of #LeapofKindnessDay this year, the Chamber is promoting non-monetary donation requests from our non-profit members. As of this posting, 19 non-profit members have sent in their requests, which are posted on the Chamber website at https://bit.ly/LeapofKindnessDay. Requests were also sent out individually on our Facebook and Instagram feeds over the past few weeks.

If you have a minute, please check out the list of requests, which are summarized below. They range from small item donations to volunteer time to more substantial needs (but it never hurts to ask!). Full request details and contact information for each non-profit participating are available at https://bit.ly/LeapofKindnessDay. If you are able to help fulfill one request, remember to let us know

An unprecedented stage line-up on the books for this Wednesday’s Rhumb
Line show. In addition to legends of the land, J.B. Amero and the amazing
David Brown, we add 7-time Boston Music Award winning guitarist, Bobby
Stanton. J.B. and I go way back to the 70s with Bobby, who has played with
just about everyone under the sun – including James Taylor, Bo Diddley, The
Temptations, Martha Reeves, Noel Redding, and so very many more. It was
J.B.’s idea to put this one together – something I should’ve thought of a long
time ago. I am literally wild with anticipation for this incredible night of music.
