Another lonely lifeguard stand. It’s going to be a long off-season.

If you see this guy around town today, wish him a happy birthday! Though you may have seen him many times over the years since our honeymoon back in the last century, he hasn’t changed too much over the years. Happy birthday Jim! (and thanks Manny for the great shot!)

Hi Joey,
This is Denali, she’s our boat dog on the Bite Me.
The bottom picture is a side by side of her first boat ride at 8 weeks old, and now 2 years old. She loves pulling lobster traps and swimming at Winga.

So happy to be in Gloucester where people actually keep cardboard boats afloat, where the sunsets are amazing and autumn is in the air. Totally worth the 3 day road trip as always!

What a day Sunday, October 8, 2023 at the 3rd annual Magtoberfest on Lexington Avenue and the Magnolia Community Library. Many thanks to the committee of Magnolia Farmers Market, The Cape Ann Makers and the Magnolia Community Library for this wonderful and fun event. These committees work so hard all year long.
Thank you to all the loyal vendors who show up and give our customers a good time and wonderful food and gifts.
Appreciate to all the customers and fun people that came out to enjoy the wonderful weather, gifts, food and music.

Saturday Oct 14 is shaping up to be a pretty busy day, including the re-scheduled Community Safety Day activities on the Harbor Loop 10-2.

Here is a documentary photo taken by our close friend Tina Snider, who lives in view of the Eastern Point Dog Bar Breakwater. We don’t have a lot of details, but she caught this photograph of reportedly a pregnant visitor, one of two women being rescued after being swept off the breakwater by a wave late this morning.
